Our swim school was founded in 1990 and, over the past two decades, has developed one of the industry’s most effective swim curriculums. Our easy registration, flexible class times, small class sizes,

warm water, and professional, certified staff have made swimming lessons a blast for over 100,000 students.

Qualified, caring teachers and an outstanding training system ensure a winning combination. Unlike other swim lesson programs, we put forth an extra effort to carefully select our staff based on their background in teaching and swimming, their enthusiasm for working with children, and their natural compassion for swimmers who might need extra love and support. SwimWest’s systemized approach to aquatic education has been one of the keys to our success. We strongly believe in acknowledging the children’s accomplishments, and have developed a special report card to reward every child’s achievement as they progress through each swim level.

Our Philosophy is to provide all children, regardless of age, race, or any special needs, with the best aquatic experience, the necessary skills to be safe in the water, a love of swimming, and to educate their parents about water safety and the aquatic learning process. We specialize in teaching infants, toddlers, and young children how to swim in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment. We strive to develop each child’s self-esteem, confidence, and love for the water. As professional swim instructors, we feel that creating happy swimmers is a gift that will last a lifetime, and the confidence they learn can be used in all areas of their lives. SwimWest SwimSchool offers more than any other swim school in the area. Not only are we the only local swim school certified and approved by the elite United States Swim School Association, we also are involved with the World Aquatic Baby Congress, the Safer Three program, and the Safe Kids Coalition.

The friendly office staff will work hard to meet your scheduling needs. In addition, office staff personnel are available to help answer any questions you may have regarding lessons, levels, memberships, and more. We make it our goal everyday to be as accommodating as possible, so if you have a special need or concern, please stop and talk with us and we will try our best to make your experience at SwimWest the very

Deck Managers at SwimWest
The Deck Managers play an important role in coordinating swim classes, helping with children who are nervous or scared about swimming, and communicating with parents regarding their child’s progress. Our Deck Managers are also Lifeguard certified. They are here to assist the instructors in supervising your child while they are in the water, and if need be, will get in the water and work one-on-one with a swimmer who needs some extra attention. All staff are CPR/First Aid certified, and most of our staff is Lifeguard certified, as well. All employees receive training and renewal classes every year.
