Job Summary:

The Swim Instructor position is one of the most important positions in the company. S/he is responsible for providing superior customer service to our clientele and support to their children. They must be positive and gracious toward our students, parents, and lifeguards. S/he is responsible for teaching the appropriate swim skills per level. S/he is required to provide the best quality of lessons and teaching possible. S/he is responsible for working closely with the deck supervisor to provide support/concern with the programs and teachers. Swim Instructors are responsible for handling inquiries about the levels and lessons, selling our programs, and promoting year round lessons. S/he is also responsible to make sure all student information is complete and accurate – including sheets and Way to Go Cards. S/he often represents the company and needs to be ready for anything at any time, understanding and regarding the Emergency Action Plan.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in the pool for 4.5 hours per shift
